I’m Jenny Barr, the woman behind Apace Couriers. I’ve always wanted to set up my own courier business ever since I was working in London as a Personal Assistant and finding out how difficult it was to get a courier company who could respond quickly to our urgent pick-up and delivery needs. With that in mind and my passion for driving, I could not wait to get going and where better a place to start providing a same-day delivery service but in the Dublin and surrounding areas and so it began! This helped form my progression to this point and I have to say I have enjoyed it every bit of the way. We have had great fun along the way, including appearing on RTE’s TV documentary “Truckers” in 2012 and being interviewed about Apace Couriers on RTE Radio 1 John Murray’s business programme.
Our History
We have come a long way since we began in 2001. When based in Dublin, our focus was on transporting documents, parcels and pallets in the Dublin area on a same day basis and ensuring our customers would be truly happy with the service we provide. Since 2007, we have also created a base in Wexford. Due to developments in technology and the internet since this point have allowed for vast improvements to our services and we now offer services to all counties in Ireland, including Belfast. We also provide an emergency only service into Europe.
Our Mission
Apace Couriers provide an excellent same day pick up and delivery all while minimising costs to our customers. Our mission is to provide a low cost courier service, without jeopardising our excellent customer care. Because for us, our customers always come first.
OUR CLIENTS
Our competitively priced, same day delivery service has made us the courier of choice for a number of businesses, organisations and private clients. Since 2001, we have worked with clients across insurance, industry, construction, large transport companies, marketing, fine art, and education. Some of our most urgent deliveries have been for private clients, including travelling across the country to return a soft toy to its very young owner to ensure a good night’s sleep for the whole family! We cater for all, whether it’s a once-off delivery or a large organisation that could make huge savings with regular deliveries.
